Here's one of the shorts being nominated for this year's Academy Awards. The Fantastic Flying Books Of Mr. Morris Lessmore is inspired by silent films, The Wizard of Oz, Hurricane Katrina and Buster Keaton (sounds like an unlikely combo, but you'll see it right away). It's cute without being twee, something which usually annoys the crap out of me with this genre of animation. Fun to watch on a Sunday anyhow, I rate it.
